Old Glory and the Turkish Flag

Some have asked why the Turkish flag flies alongside Old Glory atop the Razorback. After the Razorback left the U.S. Navy in 1970, she was transferred to Turkey where she served as the TCG Muratreis until 2001 when she was decommissioned in Turkey and transferred to the City of North Little Rock. The Razorback/Muratreis served both countries with distinction to become the longest continuing serving submarine in history.
